Due to significant growth within the sector, the client is seeking a National Accounts Manager to join their team.
The National Account Manager will require you to manage and grow commercial relationships with new and existing retail distributor accounts, clients and customers. You will work with targeted organisations to create profitable long-term relationships and will serve as a key customer contact. As the National Account Manager, you will provide client revenue generating services including support and training of enterprise precision software and hardware. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical expertise and a thorough understanding of agricultural equipment and farming practices. To succeed you must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must be capable of developing a market strategy and utilising professional networks to access beneficial opportunities with current and new accounts. Collaboration and innovations are essential! Key Duties and responsibilities:
Lead demonstrations of Agrian software and technology tools
Identify training needs and aid Agrian client support in developing training materials for channel education
Plan and assist with software and educational meetings
Identify, summarise and communicate requirements for software and hardware solutions
Conduct planning with key accounts to meet market penetration, use and revenue goals
Facilitate the sales and adoption of Agrian software, hardware and services to new and existing customers
Post-secondary education in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Farm Management or Precision Agriculture
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in agronomy sales, training or precision agriculture field applicants
Knowledge of farming practices and equipment
Knowledge of the principles and practices of pesticide recommendations, soil fertility, fertiliser recommendations, site-specific agronomy and GIS systems/GPS technologies
