Job Description

Our client is Australia's sole supplier of elite cotton varieties. They provide the Australian Cotton industry with the best seed, germplasm, treatments and biotechnology traits to deliver world leading yield and quality.

We are seeking highly motivated Production Workers to join our client's production team based in Wee Waa, NSW.

Here are the details:

  • The season is expected to start from mid-April and run through to the September/October
  • The facility operates 24/7 with 12-hour shifts; day shift is 7am-7pm and night shift is 7pm-7am
  • Hourly rate for day shift is $31.93 and PM/Night shift is $35.59
  • All training is provided

Your duties will include (but not be limited to) the following:

  • Working in a state of the art manufacturing environment
  • Assisting in various functions within the manufacturing area
  • Complete quality inspections on the product
  • Participate in continuous improvement and WHS
  • Moving products within the production area
  • Utilising forklifts and lifting aids
  • Assisting in basic maintenance activities
  • Loading of product for despatch from the facility
  • Conducting basic troubleshooting and escalating safety, quality and equipment issues

Your Skills & Experience

The ideal candidates will have previous experience in a similar role, however we are open to those who are keen and committed to work from April to October, across day and night shifts, and also weekends. You are required to have your own transport to get to work and from work.

You will need to be physically capable of and willing to work outside in all weather conditions. To be considered for the roles, you need to be able to prove the following:

  • Good reading, writing and math skills
  • Ability to follow directions and WHS regulations
  • Australian forklift license
