Our client is currently looking for a Dairy Farm Hand to join their family business based in beautiful Bream Creek, along Tasmania’s south-east coast.
As Dairy Farm Hand, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily milking shifts and other general farming duties. The position requires you to undertake manual work that will see you getting dirty and requires a level of physical capability. You will be required to work split morning and afternoon shifts. Our client will also be willing to offer the right candidate more hours and an ongoing role in reward for their excellent work.
Your Skills & Experience
Ideally you will have experience working in a dairy or with animal handling, however this is not essential. You need to be hands-on, reliable and willing to take on a range of duties to assist with the day to running of the farm. As a Dairy Farm Hand you will be required to complete 7 milking’s per week, fencing, feed the cattle and take on labouring and cleaning duties as required. To be successful in your application, you will need to be a proactive and a keen team player, you will be flexible, reliable and foster a ‘can do’ attitude.

- Able and willing to take on labouring duties as required
- Willing to work day and night shifts
- Committed to the job
- Have good level of English
- Able to work independently and as a team
- Own transport – preferred
