Our client is an industry leading agribusiness with sophisticated citrus operations located in Mundubbera and surrounds. They are currently looking to fill 100 Citrus Packer positions across their farming sites, with work commencing from September 2026 onwards.

You are required to work in a farming environment where you will be primarily working in the packing shed. You will be working in the packing department where you are required to be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will be paid under Agri Labour Australia Horticulture Agreement 2016 - Level 2, at an hourly rate of $33.05 per hour, with a minimum of 120 hours of work, every 4 weeks. This will be aligned with the Fair Work Commission's annual reviews, including any increases to the National Minimum Wage and minimum award rates of pay. You will be offered between 6-9 months of work with potential to upskill.

Key duties include:

• Pack (pattern or volume) citrus into cartons
• Ensure sizing and patterns are correct in cartons
• Ensure quarantine and major defects are not placed into cartons
• Ensure the packer identification stickers on each packed carton
• Report any sizing or quality problems to supervisor
• Report any possible machinery problems to maintenance engineer
• Any other duties as directed by Supervisor or management.

Characteristics and Aptitudes:

To be considered for the roles, it's important you are committed to maintaining animal welfare standards and meet the following criteria:

• Physical stamina and endurance to work outdoors for extended period.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions (heat rain etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in packing fruits
• Basic knowledge of fruit varieties and understanding of ripening stages
• Willingness to follow and learn safety protocols and procedures
• Effective communication skills for team collaboration.
• Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
