The Role

Agri Labour Australia is seeking a reliable and physically fit Grain Handler to join the team in Jondaryan, Queensland.

This is a great opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands-on outdoor work and are comfortable working in hot and dusty conditions. The role will involve assisting with silo and bunker operations, general labouring duties and grain tarp work.

What You'll Do:

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with silo and bunker operations, carrying out general labouring duties and handling grain tarps while following workplace health and safety procedures.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Assist with daily silo and bunker operations.
• Carry out grain tarp handling and covering duties.
• Perform general labouring tasks as required.
• Assist with grain-handling activities and site operations.
• Work outdoors in hot and dusty conditions.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and instructions.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Benefits:

• $35.96 per hour + penalty rates.
• Approximately 38-50 hours per week, weather dependent.
• Full training provided to successful applicants.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Be physically fit and capable of performing manual labour.
• Have the ability to work outdoors in hot and dusty conditions.
• Have previous grain tarp handling experience (desirable).
• Have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Be reliable and safety-conscious.
• Have your own reliable transport to and from work.
• Be able to arrange your own accommodation locally.
