The Role

We are seeking experienced Grain Handlers to join a busy grain receival and storage operation in Tabbita, NSW, within the agriculture and grain industry. This is a hands-on, physically active role, involving outdoor work such as sweeping, shovelling, cleaning, equipment operation, and general site support. You'll also have the opportunity to learn weighbridge duties and grain receival processes. The environment is fast-paced, practical, and strongly focused on teamwork and safety.

Key Responsibilities

You'll support the safe receival, handling, storage, and movement of grain while helping keep daily site operations running efficiently.

• Operate grain-handling equipment including augers, conveyors, hoppers, loaders, and tractors
• Safely load and unload grain from trucks and storage facilities
• Learn and perform weighbridge duties and accurately record grain movements
• Conduct grain sampling and assist with quality checks
• Complete data entry and maintain accurate inventory records
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
• Complete sweeping, shovelling, tarp work, and general housekeeping
• Assist with grain bunker construction and maintenance
• Follow site safety procedures and operational requirements

Your Skills & Experience

We're looking for dependable candidates who are comfortable with physical outdoor work and willing to learn.

• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Able to safely perform repetitive lifting, bending, sweeping, and shovelling as part of daily duties
• Comfortable working outdoors in hot, dusty, and changing weather conditions
• Reliable, positive, and willing to assist across different site duties
• Willingness to learn weighbridge processes and site procedures
• Good attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work extended hours during peak harvest periods
• Previous grain handling, agriculture, farming, logistics, or warehousing experience highly regarded but not essential
• Machinery licences, relevant tickets, or previous weighbridge experience highly regarded
