Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for people with a positive attitude who can commit to completing the mango harvest.

There’s no denying it – the mango harvest is hard work and it’s not for the faint hearted. Australian mango-picking jobs involve long days in hot temperatures, a lot of repetition and physically demanding tasks – think carrying, lifting and picking, on repeat.

If you have a good attitude and you’re prepared for hard work, then mango harvest jobs can present a once-in-a-lifetime experience, with your work being rewarded not only financially, but also with new friendships and job satisfaction.

If you meet the following criteria, we’d love to hear from you:

  • Strong level of English communication skills
  • Happy working in hot environments
  • Committed to completing the full season
  • Physically fit and able to work long, flexible shifts
  • Dedicated to keeping yourself and your team-mates safe
  • Free from mango allergies and skin sensitivity

A driver's licence is the baseline, additional tickets will take you further

A standard driver’s licence is essential for most mango roles, and a heavy rigid truck licence, front-end loader ticket, or forklift licence will open up more opportunities across the operation. Most importantly, we want people who bring a positive attitude and look out for the people around them.

Mango picking has a few unique requirements

Unlike most other harvests, mango work requires you to be free from skin sensitivity, colour blindness, and mango allergies. Beyond that, we’re looking for people who are physically fit, committed to the full season, and happy working long hours outdoors in the Northern Territory heat or in a busy shed environment grading, packing, and stacking. Previous experience in mango picking or citrus harvests is a real advantage.
