Labour hire licensing

Compliant with all legal requirements

Under the Labour Hire Licensing Act 2017 (the Act), users of labour hire must only use licensed labour hire providers. The Act establishes a mandatory licensing scheme to protect labour hire workers and support responsible labour hire providers.

These labour hire licences assure businesses and the community that labour hire workers are being fairly paid and treated well. Most states and territories now have established licensing schemes for the labour hire industry, including Queensland, South Australia and Victoria.
