The Role

Join one of our client’s almond orchard operations in the Robinvale region as an Orchard Assistant or Orchard Technician, with full training provided – no prior agriculture experience needed. This hands-on role has you working outdoors across irrigation, tree care and seasonal production, whether you’re new to the industry or already have some orchard experience. It’s a great fit if you enjoy physical outdoor work, take safety seriously, and want a role that keeps you on your feet.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll play an important role in supporting orchard operations, ensuring trees, equipment and irrigation systems are maintained to a high standard while assisting the team with seasonal production activities.

• Operate orchard machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist with irrigation installation, maintenance and repairs
• Complete general orchard maintenance tasks
• Support seasonal orchard activities as directed
• Always follow workplace health and safety procedures
• Perform additional duties as requested by the supervisor

Your Skills & Experience

• No previous agriculture experience required
• Current driver’s licence
• Unrestricted, ongoing work rights in Australia
• Comfortable with manual outdoor work, including lifting and standing for long period.
• Willing to work in varying weather conditions
• Reliable, safety-conscious and able to follow instructions.
• Works well independently and in a team
• Prior orchard or machinery experience a plus, not essential
