Our client is an industry leading agribusiness with sophisticated poultry operations located in Wellcamp and surrounds. They are currently looking to fill 50 poultry positions across their farming sites and grading floor, with work commencing from November 2026 onwards.

You are required to work in poultry environment where dust and the smell of livestock is present. Not afraid of getting your hands dirty, you will be comfortable working with live and deceased birds; all animals must be handled gently and compassionately. You will be a team player who is physically fit and more than able to handle heavy lifting.

You will be paid under the Food Beverage and Tobacco Manufacturing Award – Level 1, at an hourly rate of $25.74 per hour, with a minimum of 38 hours of work, per week. This will be aligned with the Fair Work Commission’s annual reviews, including any increases to the National Minimum Wage and minimum award rates of pay. You will be offered between 1-4 years of work with potential to upskill.

Key duties include:

Working on an egg grading floor production area, this job will involve:

• Packing – Cleaning
• Carton making
• Stacking boxes
• Fixed plant machinery operation

Further training will be provided to upskill into levels of higher responsibility.

Characteristics and Aptitudes:

• Comfortable working in a livestock environment
• Good communication skills and able to follow instructions
• No asthma or dust allergies
• Live locally or be happy to relocate to Wellcamp
• Physically fit and comfortable in carrying out labour intensive duties
• Comfortable working in direct contact with poultry in a smelly environment
• Able to follow directions and work unsupervised whilst showing high levels of initiative
• A team player and happy working with a multicultural team
