Job description

The Role

We are seeking Grain Harvest Workers to join the upcoming grain harvest season across multiple sites in New South Wales. Working within one of Australia's leading grain operations, you will assist with the safe receival, storage, handling and movement of grain throughout harvest. This is a physically demanding outdoor role suited to candidates who enjoy hands-on work and are flexible to work extended hours as harvest demands.

Key Responsibilities

This role supports grain handling operations to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality site performance.

  • Operate grain handling equipment including augers, conveyors, hoppers, and loaders
  • Load and unload grain from trucks and storage facilities
  • Conduct grain sampling and monitor product quality
  • Assist with weighbridge operations and inventory records
  • Complete equipment checks and basic maintenance
  • Perform shovelling, sweeping, tarp work, and bunker duties
  • Complete tarp work, sweeping, shovelling and general housekeeping

Your Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will be reliable, safety-focused and comfortable working in a physically demanding outdoor environment.

  • Reliable work ethic with excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting, bending and shovelling
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and around grain dust.
  • Previous experience in grain handling, agriculture, farming, logistics, manufacturing or warehousing is highly regarded but not essential
  • Experience operating agricultural machinery is advantageous
  • Reliable transport to travel to site is required
