The Role

We are seeking experienced Grain Samplers to work across various grain sites throughout New South Wales. Working within the grain industry, you will support sampling, weighbridge and general grain handling operations in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. You will work closely with drivers, customers and site teams to help maintain safe and efficient grain receival and movement. This role is suited to reliable, safety-focused candidates who have previous grain sampling experience, enjoy practical work and are flexible to assist across different areas of site operations.

Key Responsibilities

You will play an important role in supporting accurate grain receival, sampling and weighbridge activities while helping maintain safe and efficient site operations. Depending on site requirements, you may also assist with broader grain handling duties.

• Sample and test grain deliveries in line with site procedures
• Operate the weighbridge and complete accurate data entry
• Direct truck movements safely within the site
• Assist with grain handling and general site operations
• Support loading and unloading activities as required
• Maintain clean, safe and organised work areas
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
• Provide professional and helpful service to drivers and customers
• Assist with other grain site duties as required

Your Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will be reliable, safety-focused and comfortable working in an active grain handling environment.

• Previous grain sampling experience is required
• Previous grain handling or grain site experience is highly regarded
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete accurate records and data entry
• Reliable work ethic with excellent punctuality and attendance
• Good communication, teamwork and customer service skills
• Willingness and ability to work shift work when required
• Physically capable of completing manual tasks, including lifting, shovelling and bending
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and in environments where grain dust may be present
• Ability to follow site safety procedures and work safely around vehicles, machinery and grain handling operations
