The Role

We are seeking reliable Meat Process Workers to join a processing facility in Launceston, TAS, within the meat processing and food production industry. This is a hands-on role working in a fast-paced environment where you will assist with processing, cutting, and packing meat products. You'll be part of a team focused on maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

This role supports the processing and packing of meat products to meet production and quality standards.

• Operate processing machinery and equipment
• Use knives to trim, cut, and prepare meat products
• Pack and stack meat products into boxes
• Maintain hygiene and food safety standards at all times
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures
• Assist with general processing tasks as required

Your Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will be physically capable, reliable, and comfortable working in a processing environment.

• Experience in meat processing or knife handling desirable
• Strong understanding of knife safety and handling procedures
• Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Willingness to complete Q Fever vaccination and pre-employment medical
