The Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and motivated Sampler Stand / Weighbridge All Rounder to join a busy grain storage and handling operation in the agriculture industry. Working across a grain receival and storage site, you will assist with grain sampling, weighbridge operations, grain handling activities, and general site operations. This hands-on role offers variety and suits someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

This position plays an important role in supporting the efficient movement, testing, and storage of grain throughout the harvest and storage season. You will work across multiple operational areas while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

• Operate the weighbridge and complete accurate data entry.
• Sample and test grain deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Direct truck movements safely throughout the site.
• Assist with grain receival, handling, loading, and unloading activities.
• Perform general grain site operations and support daily production requirements.
• Operate site equipment and machinery as required.
• Maintain site cleanliness through housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Provide excellent customer service to drivers, growers, and site visitors.
• Follow workplace health, safety, and quality procedures at all times.
• Assist with operations at other sites when required.

Your Skills & Experience

• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete accurate data entry.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused approach to work.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks in outdoor conditions.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including shift work during peak harvest periods.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous grain industry, farming, warehouse, or weighbridge experience is desirable but not essential.
• Willingness to travel and work across multiple sites when required.
• Own reliable transport to travel to and from work.
• Comfortable working in environments involving dust, noise, changing weather conditions, and extended periods of standing.
• Must wear high-visibility clothing, long sleeves, long pants, and steel-capped boots on site.
