Who is eligible for the opportunity?
Everyone from school leavers to middle-aged semi-skilled workers is welcome to join the Agri Labour family! Our ideal candidates will be:
- Working Holiday Visa holders (or eligible for a WHV)
- At least 18 years old
- Proficient in English communication
- Reasonably physical fit
- Able to commit to the season
- Vaccinated against COVID-19 – all candidates must have received two doses of an Australian-recognised vaccine
Can I choose the job I want to do?
Within reason. ALA will take candidates’ preferences into account when allocating jobs and shifts, but this may change depending on our clients’ operational requirements.
What happens if COVID-19 affects travel?
In the event of a COVID-19 outbreak that prevents travel, ALA can offer candidates great alternative placements at desirable locations right across Australia.
How much can I expect to earn?
Agri Labour Australia pays all workers in accordance with industry award rates. To find out more about the rate of pay for your current or desired role, send us a message.

ALA recruits for roles located across Australia.
What kind of work is on offer?
ALA recruits workers for roles across a broad range of industries, from livestock and poultry jobs to cotton, broadacre farming and horticulture. Roles vary depending on the industry and candidate qualifications and experience.
Do I need a visa?
Yes – all workers must have a valid Working Holiday Visa.
Can I work and live with my friends?
We encourage our candidates to apply with their friends, and will endeavour to place groups into roles on the same site.

What if I want to continue working after my placement is over?
