The citrus season is about to gear up and we are seeking Forklift Operator for our client's citrus packing shed near Renmark, SA. Offering eligibility for 2nd/3rd year visa and a friendly working environment, the role sees you working five days per week, around 35-40+ hours per week.

Forklift operation tasks will be a key part of your responsibilities, and you may also be required to undertake cleaning, labouring, and general duties as directed by your supervisor.

These positions are physically demanding and include:

• Packing and pre-packing fruit
• Machine Operating (Forklift)
• Making cartons/crates, container-loading
• General cleaning
• Other general packinghouse duties designated by a supervisor.

Our season runs through to October. Weather conditions and fruit maturity influences the availability of work. You may be required to travel to different packing locations and perform night work. Working five to six days a week, high performers will be identified for further opportunities.

Your Skills & Experience:

To be considered for the role you need to be able:

• Have a valid forklift license and previous forklift operating experience
• To pass a packing induction, conditions such as manual handling assessment
• To travel to different packing locations and perform night work
• Flexible with your tasks and willing to work shifts
• Committed to the season (approx. 4-5 months)
• Good level of English
