Take advantage of this exciting opportunity to work in tropical North Queensland where our winter is the perfect summer!

Sugarcane crushing season 2023

North Queensland’s warm tropical temperatures are ideal for growing sugar and approximately 95% of Australia’s sugarcane is grown in Queensland.

Sugar is Australia’s second largest export crop and Queensland’s largest rural commodity and a major contributor to the Australian economy.

The sugar cane flowers early May through June, and July to November is typically the cane harvesting season for the local sugar industry.

Take advantage of this opportunity and spend your days off traveling the outback or just lying on a beach in the Whitsundays!
